Caelid
A blighted red wasteland east of Limgrave: Scarlet Rot swamps, Sellia, Redmane Castle and the Radahn Festival that brings down a star.
- Suggested level: 50–70
Bosses
- Putrid Avatar: Guards the Minor Erdtree down a side path from the Smoldering Church in west Caelid. Fire hurts it most; carry rot cures for its poisonous slam cloud.
- Erdtree Burial Watchdog Duo: Two watchdogs, one with a sword and one with a staff, end the Minor Erdtree Catacombs near the Smoldering Church. Take down the spellcaster first while dodging its partner.
- Mad Pumpkin Head Duo: A hammer and a flail brute share the cellar under the Caelem Ruins, entered on the east side. Run laps to split them up and hit their bodies, not their helmets; a chest in the next room holds the Visage Shield.
- Magma Wyrm: Lives at the end of Gael Tunnel near Fort Gael and guards the Moonveil katana. Stay beside its body, away from the lava breath; it also leaves a Dragon Heart.
- Frenzied Duelist: Chained up at the end of Gaol Cave in west Caelid. Its swings have long wind-ups, so roll in and work at its back; walk out the far exit afterwards for a sword on a corpse.
- Cemetery Shade: Boss of the Caelid Catacombs. As with the other shades, Holy damage and constant movement keep its grab from landing.
- Cleanrot Knight Duo: A sickle knight and a spear knight guard the end of the Abandoned Cave, at the foot of the Dragonbarrow cliffs. Pull one away at a time and keep rot cures handy for the cave's pools.
- Decaying Ekzykes: A rot-scarred dragon resting just south-east of the Caelid Highway South grace. Its breath spreads Scarlet Rot, so attack from the side with Fire; it leaves a Dragon Heart.
- Night's Cavalry: Rides the Caelid highway near the Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank grace after dark. Fight it on Torrent and hit the horse until the rider falls.
- Death Rite Bird: Appears at night by a cliff south-west of the Southern Aeonia Swamp Bank grace. Holy damage and wide circles on Torrent keep you safe from its ghostflame.
- Commander O'Neil: Stands in the rotting Swamp of Aeonia near the Inner Aeonia grace. His banner raises spirit soldiers, so stay aggressive; the Unalloyed Gold Needle he drops is for Millicent.
- Nox Swordstress & Nox Monk: Guard the sealed Chair-Crypt of Sellia; light the town's three tower braziers to open it. Focus on one at a time and stay out of the swordstress's whip-like reach.
- Fallingstar Beast: Waits at the end of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. Its Bell Bearing adds early Somber Smithing Stones to the Roundtable shop; dodge its tail sweeps and back off from the gravity pulse.
- Putrid Crystalian Trio: Three rot-tainted Crystalians at the end of Sellia Hideaway. Shatter their crystal shells with Strike damage and bring cures, as their attacks cause Scarlet Rot.
- Crucible Knight & Misbegotten Warrior: Fight in Redmane Castle's plaza when the Radahn Festival is not active: before it starts or after Radahn falls. Kill the nimble Misbegotten first, then take the knight slowly.
- Starscourge Radahn: During the Radahn Festival, take the waygate in Redmane Castle down to the Wailing Dunes. Ride Torrent, revive the NPC summons spread over the field and dodge his arrow volleys by riding sideways.
- Putrid Tree Spirit: The War-Dead Catacombs open on Radahn's battlefield after he falls; this is their boss. Fire and Frostbite help, and it also leaves a Golden Seed.
