Stone Coffin Fissure

A deep chasm lined with stone coffins below the Cerulean Coast, home to St. Trina’s garden and the Putrescent Knight.

Bosses

  • Putrescent Knight: Waits at the bottom of the Stone Coffin Fissure; drop down to the Fissure Depths and win to unlock the Garden of Deep Purple. In phase two watch the shadow on the ground for its leaping strikes.
  • Misbegotten Crusader: A second Crusader waits in the Stone Coffin Fissure. Its moves match the Cave of the Forlorn fight: sidestep the holy sword waves and punish after each big swing.

Items found here

  • St. Trina's Blossom (Shadow of the Erdtree): After the final boss, go back to St. Trina's cave at the Garden of Deep Purple grace and pick it up where she stood.
  • Remembrance of Putrescence (Shadow of the Erdtree): The Putrescent Knight drops it at the base of the Stone Coffin Fissure. Hand it to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold for the Putrescence Cleaver or Vortex of Putrescence.
  • St. Trina Disciple's Cookbook [3] (Shadow of the Erdtree): Garden of Deep Purple: after the Putrescent Knight, look in the small cave where St. Trina rests.
  • Mass of Putrescence (Shadow of the Erdtree): From the Fissure Waypoint grace, hop the gap and drop to the ledge on the left; it lies by some stalagmites.
  • Multilayered Ring of Light (Shadow of the Erdtree): From the Fissure Waypoint grace, head uphill to a small hole, drop into the cave and beat the spectral Misbegotten inside.
  • St. Trina's Smile (Shadow of the Erdtree): Thiollier turns hostile late in his quest and invades you in the Garden of Deep Purple; defeat him for it.
  • Scadutree Fragment (Shadow of the Erdtree): By Miquella's Cross at the Fissure Cross grace deep in the Stone Coffin Fissure.
  • Velvet Sword of St. Trina (Shadow of the Erdtree): West of the Fissure Cross grace, drop across two broken ledges and enter the cave to the east where the sword waits.

Walkthrough: Stone Coffin Fissure: St. Trina's Garden

  • Descend the eastern slope below The Fissure grace and rest at the Stone Coffin Fissure grace.
  • Head south-east along the fissure floor to the Fissure Cross grace.
  • Collect the Scadutree Fragment at the Miquella's Cross beside it.
  • Optional: go west from Fissure Cross, drop across two ruined ledges and enter the cave to the east for the Velvet Sword of St. Trina.
  • Work north along the stone coffins to the Fissure Waypoint grace.
  • Keep descending through the coffin-strewn chasm to the Fissure Depths grace.
  • Jump down into the arena and defeat the Putrescent Knight for the Remembrance of Putrescence.
  • Touch the Garden of Deep Purple grace beyond the arena.
  • Enter the cave, find St. Trina and choose to imbibe her nectar; it kills you, which is expected.
  • Pick up St. Trina Disciple's Cookbook [3] lying next to her.
  • Warp to Pillar Path Cross and tell Thiollier where St. Trina is.
  • Rest, return to the Garden of Deep Purple, then keep talking to Thiollier in the cave until his lines start repeating.
  • Imbibe St. Trina's nectar again and again, about four times in all, until her voice speaks to you after death.
  • Talk to Thiollier and choose to pass on St. Trina's words, then try a second time to anger him.
  • Drink the nectar once more to provoke his invasion and defeat Thiollier for St. Trina's Smile.
  • Talk to the revived Thiollier, then imbibe the nectar one more time.
  • Relay St. Trina's words to Thiollier once more.
  • Reload the area and speak with Thiollier to wrap up this part of his story.

Walkthrough: Enir-Ilim: Climbing to the Gate of Divinity

  • Up the southern stairs from the Church of the Bud grace stands the Sealing Tree; set it alight with Messmer's Kindling.
  • Once the tree has burned, touch the Enir-Ilim: Outer Wall grace where you arrive.
  • Follow the path up along the outer wall to the First Rise grace.
  • Optional: climb the stairs west of First Rise, cross the courtyard and leap the gap to kill a Fat Inquisitor for a Revered Spirit Ash.
  • Optional: drop through that gap instead and go west to a statue holding two Revered Spirit Ash.
  • Work your way up to the Spiral Rise grace.
  • Take the Scadutree Fragment at the last Miquella's Cross, right by the grace.
  • Optional: climb the stairs from Spiral Rise and leave by the left window onto the rooftops; a room off the final staircase holds a Revered Spirit Ash.
  • Optional: keep crossing the rooftops to a tower whose altar holds a Scadutree Fragment.
  • Continue climbing the tower city to the Cleansing Chamber Anteroom grace.
  • Take the Scadutree Fragment from the altar beside the grace.
  • Summon whichever allies your choices left you, then use the sign ahead to fight Needle Knight Leda and her companions.
  • Loot Leda's Sword, Leda's Armor and Dane's Footwork from the fallen; these always drop.
  • Collect whatever the other foes leave, such as Freyja's Greatsword and Freyja's Set, or Moore's Bell Bearing, Verdigris Greatshield and Verdigris Set.
  • Ride the lift up and, if Sir Ansbach is waiting there, talk to him.
  • A long staircase rises beyond the lift; light the Divine Gate Front Staircase grace before the final arena.
  • Summon your remaining allies and defeat Promised Consort Radahn for the Remembrance of a God and a Lord.
  • Rest at the Gate of Divinity grace once the fight ends.
  • Search the arena for the Let Us Go Together gesture.
  • If Thiollier's quest is complete, reload and take Thiollier's Hidden Needle and Thiollier's Set near the arena entrance.
  • If Ansbach fought alongside you, pick up the Obsidian Lamina, Furious Blade of Ansbach and Ansbach's Set near the entrance as well.
  • Warp to the Garden of Deep Purple and take St. Trina's Blossom from the spot where she stood.
