Walkthrough steps

• Stormhill: Deathtouched Catacombs to Castleward Tunnel: Open the chest in the boss room to claim a second Deathroot.
• Dragonbarrow: Gurranq at the Bestial Sanctum: Give Gurranq, Beast Clergyman your first Deathroot; he rewards you with the Clawmark Seal and a Beast Eye.
• Dragonbarrow: Gurranq at the Bestial Sanctum: Hand over the second Deathroot for the Bestial Sling incantation.
• Liurnia: Gate Town Bridge, Hyetta and Jarburg: Bring D along northward and slay the Tibia Mariner, which drops another Deathroot (your third) and the Skeletal Bandit Ashes.
• Liurnia: Church of Vows and Black Knife Catacombs: Open the chest in the boss room for your fourth Deathroot.
• Mt. Gelmir: Hermit Village and Gelmir Hero's Grave: Open the chest in the boss room for your sixth Deathroot.
• Greyoll's Dragonbarrow: Gurranq's Frenzy: Feed Gurranq your fifth and sixth Deathroot for the Beast Claw and Stone of Gurranq incantations.
• Mountaintops of the Giants: Zamor Ruins and the Stargazers: Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit and open the chest behind it for the seventh Deathroot.
• Mountaintops of the Giants: Castle Sol and the Fire Giant: A Tibia Mariner drifts among the gravestones north-west of the Overlook; kill it for the eighth Deathroot.
• Consecrated Snowfield: The Hidden Path to the Haligtree: Open the chest beyond the arena for the ninth and final Deathroot.
