Elden Ring Sorceries Checklist

Every sorcery and who teaches it. The legendary ones count toward Legendary Sorceries and Incantations. Where to find each one in Elden Ring, DLC included.

Glintstone

  • Glintstone Pebble: Astrologers begin with it. Anyone else can buy it for 1,000 runes from Sorceress Sellen, Thops or, in the DLC, Count Ymir.
  • Swift Glintstone Shard: Hand the Academy Scroll, lying among the graves just west of the Lake-Facing Cliffs grace, to Sellen, Miriel or Seluvis; it then costs 600 runes.
  • Great Glintstone Shard: Unlocked by giving the Academy Scroll to Sellen, Miriel or Seluvis; it then costs 2,000 runes. Count Ymir also stocks it.
  • Glintstone Cometshard: Grab the Conspectus Scroll in Raya Lucaria (room left of the Schoolhouse Classroom grace), hand it to a sorcery teacher and pay 12,000 runes.
  • Comet: In Raya Lucaria Academy, strike the empty bookshelf just before the Debate Parlor grace; the hidden room behind it holds the scroll.
  • Shard Spiral: Help Sellen in the final step of her questline instead of siding with Jerren; she then sells it for 8,000 runes in the Raya Lucaria Grand Library.
  • Glintstone Stars: Sellen sells it for 3,000 runes in the Waypoint Ruins cellar; Gowry in Caelid stocks it too once Millicent has left his shack.
  • Star Shower: Hand the Conspectus Scroll from Raya Lucaria to Sellen, Miriel or Seluvis and buy it for 10,000 runes.
  • Glintstone Arc: An Astrologer starting spell; otherwise Sellen or Thops will sell it for 1,500 runes.
  • Crystal Barrage: Part of Sorceress Sellen's stock in the Waypoint Ruins cellar, east Limgrave, for 1,500 runes.
  • Crystal Burst: The Demi-Human Queen inside the Demi-Human Forest Ruins holds it; the ruins lie to the south-east of the Church of Pilgrimage, Weeping Peninsula.
  • Cannon of Haima: In the chest atop the Converted Fringe Tower in north-east Liurnia; perform the Erudition gesture at its sealed door to get in.
  • Gavel of Haima: Also waits in the tower-top chest of the Converted Fringe Tower, north-east Liurnia; the Erudition gesture opens the door.
  • Shatter Earth: On a corpse in a side cave near the bottom levels of the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel, Liurnia.
  • Rock Blaster: Inside a chest in a wooden shed at the top of the main cavern of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel, Caelid.
  • Scholar's Armament: Sorceress Sellen sells it for 3,000 runes in the Waypoint Ruins cellar.
  • Scholar's Shield: Sold by Sorceress Sellen at the Waypoint Ruins cellar for 2,500 runes.
  • Starlight: Sold by Thops for 2,500 runes at the Church of Irith, Liurnia.
  • Terra Magica: Beat the Crystalian pair in the Academy Crystal Cave, ride the lift behind them and climb to the chest.
  • Thops's Barrier: Give Thops an Academy Glintstone Key, then find his body outside the Schoolhouse Classroom in Raya Lucaria and loot it.
  • Comet Azur: Talk to Primeval Sorcerer Azur, the crystal-headed figure on the cliff north of Hermit Village on Mt. Gelmir. Show it to Sellen afterwards.
  • Stars of Ruin: Show Comet Azur to Sellen to get the Sellian Sealbreaker, open the seal in Sellia Hideaway and talk to Master Lusat beyond it.
  • Founding Rain of Stars: In the chest atop Heretical Rise in the Mountaintops of the Giants; cross the invisible bridge and ride the spiritspring up.

Carian

  • Magic Glintblade: Prisoners start with it; Miriel, Pastor of Vows sells it for 3,000 runes at the Church of Vows.
  • Glintblade Trio (Shadow of the Erdtree): In Castle Ensis, go past the chapel gate, drop down and climb the ladders to the chapel roof; it hangs on a corpse over the north ledge.
  • Glintblade Phalanx: Give the Royal House Scroll (ruins east of Agheel Lake South) to Sellen, Miriel or Seluvis and buy it for 2,500 runes. Count Ymir sells it too.
  • Carian Phalanx: Buy it for 12,000 runes from Preceptor Seluvis in his tower; Count Ymir also offers it in the DLC.
  • Greatblade Phalanx: Defeat Bols, Carian Knight inside Cuckoo's Evergaol, near the Revenger's Shack in western Liurnia.
  • Magic Downpour: Kill Preceptor Miriam inside the Carian Study Hall (upright version), Liurnia.
  • Loretta's Greatbow: Reward for beating Royal Knight Loretta at the top of Caria Manor.
  • Loretta's Mastery: Reward for beating Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree on the Haligtree Promenade.
  • Rennala's Full Moon: Trade the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen to Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold (one of two choices unless duplicated at a Walking Mausoleum).
  • Ranni's Dark Moon: Atop Chelona's Rise on the Moonlight Altar, opened by Ranni's questline. Kill the three spectral turtles around it to break the seal.
  • Rellana's Twin Moons (Shadow of the Erdtree): Trade the Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight, from Rellana, to Finger Reader Enia (one of two choices unless duplicated).
  • Carian Slicer: Hand the Royal House Scroll to Sellen, Miriel or Seluvis, then buy it for 1,500 runes.
  • Carian Greatsword: Miriel, Pastor of Vows offers it for 10,000 runes in her church in eastern Liurnia.
  • Carian Piercer: Kill the Teardrop Scarab in the gardens on the east side of Caria Manor.
  • Adula's Moonblade: Drop from Glintstone Dragon Adula when you finally kill her at the Cathedral of Manus Celes on the Moonlight Altar.
  • Lucidity: Kill Preceptor Miriam in the inverted Carian Study Hall, reached with the Carian Inverted Statue.
  • Carian Retaliation: Preceptor Seluvis sells it at Seluvis's Rise for 9,000 runes; Count Ymir carries it in the DLC.
  • Miriam's Vanishing (Shadow of the Erdtree): Count Ymir offers it for 10,000 runes in his cathedral, Manus Metyr, in Scadu Altus.

Night

  • Ambush Shard: Loot the body in the cells beneath the Witchbane Ruins, south of the Fourth Church of Marika.
  • Night Shard: Gowry sells it for 4,000 runes at his shack near Sellia once Millicent has moved on in her questline.
  • Night Comet: Open the barrier in the heart of Sellia, Town of Sorcery by lighting its braziers; the chest behind it holds this.
  • Night Maiden's Mist: Gowry sells it for 5,000 runes at his shack once Millicent has left in her questline.
  • Unseen Blade: Break the seal of Mirage Rise on the Altus Plateau by touching its three hidden marks, then open the top-floor chest.
  • Unseen Form: Found together with Unseen Blade in the top-floor chest of Mirage Rise, Altus Plateau.
  • Eternal Darkness: A Bloodhound Knight guards the cell of the Swamp Lookout Tower by the Sellia Gateway; loot the body inside.

Magma

  • Magma Shot: Tanith's reward for finishing your first Volcano Manor assassination contract.
  • Roiling Magma: Loot the body in the Hermit's Shack on Mt. Gelmir, which sits between the Seethewater Terminus and Craftsman's Shack graces.
  • Gelmir's Fury: Recusant Bernahl gives it to you after you complete his contract at Volcano Manor.
  • Rykard's Rancor: Trade the Remembrance of the Blasphemous to Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold (one of two choices unless duplicated).

Cold

  • Glintstone Icecrag: Buy it for 7,500 runes from Preceptor Seluvis in his tower near Ranni's Rise.
  • Freezing Mist: Buy it for 6,000 runes from Preceptor Seluvis in his tower near Ranni's Rise.
  • Frozen Armament: Kill the Teardrop Scarab on the slope between the Royal Moongazing Grounds and Behind Caria Manor graces.
  • Zamor Ice Storm: On a corpse by a stone archway in the southern part of the Zamor Ruins, Mountaintops of the Giants.

Crystalian

  • Shattering Crystal: Cross the Raya Lucaria rooftops, slip in through the high window of the Church of the Cuckoo and drop to its upper west floor.
  • Crystal Torrent: Reward for beating the three Putrid Crystalians at the end of Sellia Hideaway.
  • Crystal Release: Reward for beating the two Crystalians in the Academy Crystal Cave.

Gravity

  • Gravity Well: Dropped by the gravity-casting foe that steps out of a rift in Raya Lucaria, close to the graves by the huge turning lift.
  • Collapsing Stars: In a chest on the rot-covered floor beneath the hall of brawling soldiers in the War-Dead Catacombs, north of Radahn's battlefield.
  • Gravitational Missile (Shadow of the Erdtree): Drop from the Fallingstar Beast in the crater by the Fingerstone Hill grace.
  • Rock Sling: Descend into the Street of Sages Ruins cellar, a brief walk north of the Aeonia Swamp Shore grace; a chest there holds it.
  • Blades of Stone (Shadow of the Erdtree): Trade the Remembrance of the Wild Boar Rider, from Commander Gaius, to Finger Reader Enia (one of two choices unless duplicated).
  • Meteorite: Beat the Onyx Lord inside the Royal Grave Evergaol, Liurnia.
  • Meteorite of Astel: Reward for beating Astel, Stars of Darkness at the end of the Yelough Anix Tunnel.

Finger

  • Glintstone Nail (Shadow of the Erdtree): Count Ymir adds it (12,000 runes) after you sound the bell at the Finger Ruins of Rhia for him.
  • Glintstone Nails (Shadow of the Erdtree): Count Ymir adds it (12,000 runes) once the Finger Ruins of Rhia bell has been rung.
  • Fleeting Microcosm (Shadow of the Erdtree): Count Ymir adds it (20,000 runes) after you sound the bell at the Finger Ruins of Dheo.
  • Cherishing Fingers (Shadow of the Erdtree): When Count Ymir's questline is over, search the burial ground on the west side of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr.

Oracle

  • Oracle Bubbles: From the Siofra River Well Depths grace, enter the first ruin and kill the Teardrop Scarab perched on a broken statue.
  • Great Oracular Bubble: Warp up via the waygate on a fallen pillar south of the Worshippers' Woods grace, then kill the Teardrop Scarab in the big ruined hall on Siofra's top tier.

Thorn

  • Briars of Sin: Dropped by a lone thorn sorcerer among fire slugs on the cliffs south-west of the Eastern Tableland grace, Liurnia.
  • Briars of Punishment: At a dead tree beside some fire monks at the start of the long stone bridge near the Zamor Ruins.
  • Mantle of Thorns (Shadow of the Erdtree): Kill the small Ulcerated Tree Spirit that bursts out of the ground in the Church District of Shadow Keep.
  • Impenetrable Thorns (Shadow of the Erdtree): In the Specimen Storehouse area of Shadow Keep, on an outside ledge next to a hanging bat; climb out along the rotated beams.

Death

  • Rancorcall: Kill the Teardrop Scarab in the rat-filled crypt below the courtyard near Stormveil's Liftside Chamber grace.
  • Ancient Death Rancor: Kill the Death Rite Bird that appears at night near the Gate Town North grace, Liurnia.
  • Rings of Spectral Light (Shadow of the Erdtree): Under the huge deathbird statue on the cliff north of the Charo's Hidden Grave grace.
  • Explosive Ghostflame: Kill the night-time Death Rite Bird at the frozen river south-east of the Apostate Derelict.
  • Fia's Mist: Reward for defeating Fia's Champions in Deeproot Depths.
  • Tibia's Summons: Drop from the Tibia Mariner in the Wyndham Ruins, Altus Plateau.
  • Mass of Putrescence (Shadow of the Erdtree): From the Fissure Waypoint grace, hop the gap and drop to the ledge on the left; it lies by some stalagmites.
  • Vortex of Putrescence (Shadow of the Erdtree): Trade the Remembrance of Putrescence, from the Putrescent Knight, to Finger Reader Enia (one of two choices unless duplicated).
