Elden Ring Whetblades Checklist

The Whetstone Knife and every whetblade that unlocks new affinities. Where to find each one in Elden Ring, DLC included.

Whetblade

  • Whetstone Knife: In a chest in the cellar beneath the middle of the Gatefront Ruins, along with Ash of War: Storm Stomp.
  • Iron Whetblade: Use a Stonesword Key on the imp statue at the north-west door of the hall where a Grafted Scion lurks, near the Rampart Tower grace; the whetblade lies on a corpse in the armory beyond.
  • Glintstone Whetblade: From the Debate Parlor grace, enter the courtyard, climb the broken stairs west of the fountain into the office with the Twinsage Sorcerer, and loot the corpse on the balcony ledge.
  • Red-Hot Whetblade: Redmane Castle: leave the Chamber Outside the Plaza grace by the south door, head west past the flamethrower soldiers and take the door beyond the Abductor Virgin. Out of reach while the Radahn Festival is on.
  • Sanctified Whetblade: In the Fortified Manor: from the West Capital Rampart grace get onto its roof by the Erdtree root, drop inside and loot the corpse beside the anvil. Lost once Leyndell turns to ash.
  • Black Whetblade: Night's Sacred Ground in Nokron: work along the rooftops to the south-west and find it on a corpse slumped before an altar.
