Consecrated Snowfield

A hidden snowfield opened with both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. Ordina, the Albinauric caravans and the waygate to Mohgwyn are here.

Bosses

  • Putrid Grave Warden Duelist: Boss of the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs. Bring rot cures, bait his slow swings and roll behind him.
  • Night's Cavalry Duo: Two riders appear at night by the frozen river north-west of the Consecrated Snowfield grace. Split them up on Torrent; they leave the Night's Cavalry set and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
  • Astel, Stars of Darkness: Waits at the end of the Yelough Anix Tunnel. It teleports and calls meteors, so chase its body and roll away from the life-draining grab.
  • Great Wyrm Theodorix: Leave the Cave of the Forlorn and follow the frozen river east; the wyrm rests at the end of that ravine. Attack its sides away from the magma breath; it leaves three Dragon Hearts.
  • Misbegotten Crusader: Boss of the Cave of the Forlorn. Dodge sideways from its holy sword waves and punish after each big swing.
  • Putrid Avatar: Beneath a dead Minor Erdtree out on the snowfield's eastern border, well past Ordina. Use Fire and stay clear of the rot burst.
  • Death Rite Bird: Appears at night by the frozen river south-east of the Apostate Derelict. Holy damage makes it far easier; stay mounted to dodge the ghostflame.

  • Night's Cavalry Helm: At night, kill both Night's Cavalry riders guarding the giant-drawn carriage south-west of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield grace.
  • Night's Cavalry Helm (Altered): Altered look of Night's Cavalry Helm, which is won from the Snowfield cavalry pair; switch it at a grace and back whenever you like.

  • Alabaster Lord's Sword: Dropped by the Alabaster Lord at the bottom of the Yelough Anix Tunnel; another one on the Lake of Rot's last lift ride drops it too.
  • Golden Order Greatsword: Drop from the Misbegotten Crusader inside the Cave of the Forlorn in the Consecrated Snowfield.
  • Flowing Curved Sword: Carried by the moving carriage south-west of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield grace (not the one in the south-east); open its chest.
  • Rotten Battle Hammer: Kill the Rotten Duelist lurking among the graves just west of the Consecrated Snowfield grace.
  • Rotten Greataxe: Drop from the Rotten Duelist north-east of Ordina, Liturgical Town, before the frozen river.
  • Albinauric Bow: Albinaurics riding wolves drop it about 4% of the time; several roam south of Ordina, Liturgical Town.
  • St. Trina's Torch: In the chest of the moving carriage north-east of the Consecrated Snowfield grace (not the one in the middle of the snowfield).
  • Silver Mirrorshield: Inside the wrecked church at the Apostate Derelict in the Consecrated Snowfield.

Walkthrough: Consecrated Snowfield: The Hidden Path to the Haligtree

  • Stop by the Zamor Ruins grace: Shabriri has moved on and Yura's Ronin's Set lies where he stood.
  • At the Grand Lift of Rold, choose the Haligtree Secret Medallion instead of the usual one and ride up to the Hidden Path to the Haligtree grace.
  • Walk back to the railed platform and step off where the railing is broken to land on the invisible path below.
  • Trace the invisible walkway west toward the doorway, using messages, bloodstains or rainbow stones to see where it runs.
  • Prior to going in, jump down to the corpse on the lower platform to the left, hop through a window and throw the lever on the northern side, where the giant octopus sits in front.
  • Follow the passage south to the arena and defeat the Stray Mimic Tear.
  • Open the chest beyond the arena for the ninth and final Deathroot.

Walkthrough: Consecrated Snowfield: Ordina and Latenna

  • Step out of the hidden path's exit into the snow and rest at the Consecrated Snowfield grace just outside.
  • The Inner Consecrated Snowfield grace lies a short ride north; unlock it next.
  • Continue north past the frozen ravine to the stele holding Map: Consecrated Snowfield.
  • Ride north-west until you reach the Ordina, Liturgical Town grace.
  • An Imp Statue at the northern edge of Ordina pulls you into an evergaol version of the town; activate it.
  • Climb around the town and light all four beacons to break the seal on the way to the Haligtree.
  • Look under the bridge on the town's north side for the Black Knife Set.
  • West of town, cross the river and ride north-west to the Apostate Derelict grace.
  • Call on Latenna at the base of the giant Albinauric and speak to her to get a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.

Walkthrough: Mohgwyn Palace: The Lord of Blood

  • North-west of the Yelough Anix Ruins in the western snowfield, defeat the invader Sanguine Noble for the Sanguine Noble Set; this wakes the nearby waygate.
  • Step onto the waygate just west of there to arrive at the Palace Approach Ledge-Road grace.
  • Explore the blood lake to the south until a Nameless White Mask invades three separate times; win each fight for the War Surgeon Set.
  • Go north past the horn-blowing Albinaurics, then west to a ruin where a seated corpse holds Map: Mohgwyn Palace.
  • Climb the stairs nearby to the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance grace.
  • Follow the tunnel to its far end and touch the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint grace.
  • Head back into the tunnel, use the red sign to invade White Mask Varré and defeat him.
  • Talk to the dying Varré near his sign and take Varré's Bouquet.
  • At the grace, mix the Purifying Crystal Tear into your Flask of Wondrous Physick to blunt Mohg's blood curse.
  • Climb past the grace, ride the lift and defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood.
  • Rest at the Cocoon of the Empyrean grace that appears beside Miquella's cocoon.
